Due to the heightened needs of consumers and businesses, the company found itself short on mayonnaise used in fish products and snacks. ‘Out of mere curiosity, we took a simple enamel bucket, attached an impeller to a drill and whipped our first Daumantų mayonnaise. That first attempt took a year and a half. It was risky but interesting, and we succeeded – the result did us proud. As time went by, the bucket expanded and the taste of our mayonnaise improved,’ says Saulius Grinkevičius.
