Cheese spread with bacon and nuts

Ingredients
- 140g of semi-hard yellow cheese (or hard cheese)
- 70g of cold smoked bacon (about 4 thin slices)
- 80g of mayonnaise (we used Daumantų Švelnusis)
- 1 handful of almonds
- 2 stems of spring onions
- Dark bread according to taste
Method
Creamy spread with crispy ingredients – bacon and nuts. The combination may seem unexpected, but you will be surprised at the delicious taste of this spread!
- Cut the bacon into narrow strips and fry in a dry pan until crispy. Leave to cool.
- Grate the cheese finely.
- Chop the spring onions finely (leave some for decoration).
- Chop the almonds (with a food shredder) or simply use almond shavings to skip chopping.
- Mix the cheese together with bacon, onions, nuts and mayonnaise.
- Spread it on small slices of bread and sprinkle with remaining onions to make finger sandwiches. Toast the bread in advance for extra crunchiness.
